Järva Disc Golf Park was buzzing with excitement as the final day of the EPT Järva Open unfolded in stunning fashion. The weather played its part, providing variable conditions and a dramatic thunderstorm that briefly halted play. But the players remained undeterred and once again we got to see some fantastic disc golf at Järva DGP. The ACE magic continued as Erik Aalto nailed a sweet Ace on hole 17 marking one ace per day during the weekend. At the end of the day Luke Humphries and Olivia Kindstedt claimed the well deserved victories!
In the FPO division, Olivia Kindstedt continued her great pace and claimed the biggest win of her career with a great total score of -4. Sofie Björlycke shot the hot round of the day and delivered a fantastic performance in the final round to secure a well-deserved second-place finish at -2. Anneli Tougjas-Männiste, showed nerves of steel, clinched the third spot and earned the prestigious EPT Tour Championship title, finishing with a score of +2. Tinja Väisänen secured the fourth position with solid play throughout the weekend.
In the MPO division it was Luke Humphries who rose to the occasion, claiming a well-deserved victory with a total of -21, a walk in the park for Luke. Isaac Robinson set the course ablaze, setting a new record for Järva at -13 and securing a formidable second-place finish at -18. Teemu Talikainen’s great performance earned him the third spot with a score of -15, while Henric Hagman matched Teemu, tying for third place after a weekend of consistent and fierce disc golf.
As the final event of the 2023 European Pro Tour Season, the EPT Järva Open couldn’t have gone any better . Congratulations to all the players who showcased their passion and skill throughout the season and thank you to all the fans who have followed along. Though the EPT Season may have come to an end, the excitement continues on Disc Golf Stream with the upcoming Finish Nationals and the highly anticipated European Championship. The Course
Järva Disc Golf Park, a legendary course in Stockholm, belongs to the top 10 of the World’s Best Disc Golf Courses, ranking at #9 in 2023. Founded in 1995 on a reclaimed dump site, the park features a full 18-hole course and a 9-hole short course, making it accessible year-round. Known for its signature par 4 hole 12, Järva showcases sweeping fairways, wooded areas, and picturesque landscapes. Players laud the course for its strategic challenges and stunning aesthetics, solidifying its place as a disc golf gem globally.


Recap of Turku Open:
At the EPT Turku Open, the players brought their A-game to Luolavuori DGP, showcasing skill and determination throughout the tournament. The competition was fierce, with each player vying for the top spot on the leaderboard and we even got to see our first ACE on Disc Golf Stream! In the end, Rachel Turton emerged as the champion in the FPO division with an impressive overall score of -3. Meanwhile, Jesse Nieminen dominated the MPO division, securing a remarkable victory with an overall score of -32.
