Hot Rounds in Sunny Spain

That’s a wrap for the first day of disc golf action at EPT All Stars in Spain with a field packed full of talent. The weather at DiscGolfPark Mijas in Costa del Sol, Spain was nice today with some sunshine and a bit of wind. Jakub Semerad was already feeling confident in the press conference yesterday and his predictions for the round were spot on. Jakub was truly in the zone today playing a bogey free -12 round and making 100% of his C1X putts. The rest of the Mpo Feature Card were not quite able to keep up with the pace with Mikael Häme shooting 5 under, Knut Håland shooting 4 under and Henric Hagman ending the day on par.

WHO’S GONNA WIN THE ALL-STARS CROWN?

The rest of the Mpo also played well on the hills of Mijas and Jakub Semerad will be joined tomorrow for moving day by Ville Ahokas (-8), Daniel Davidsson (-8) and Petteri Kujanpää (-7). Moving day will surely provide some exciting action and the players have learned that precise angle control and accurate putts are necessary to succeed in Mijas.

The FPO field also had some exciting action and at the end of the day Rachel Turton emerged as the clear leader shooting 2 over. Rachel played well throughout the whole day taking four birdies in the challenging terrain at DGP Mijas. Rachel will be joined tomorrow by Jenny Larson (+8), Silva Saarinen (+9) and Heidi Laine (+10). Make sure to tune in to Disc Golf Streams live coverage tomorrow to see all of the action unfold.
