Second round, the moving day, was as exciting as expected. Riku Vink started the round in the lead, but his game today wasn’t the same as yesterday and with the score -1 he dropped down to tied 11th position. Also Ville Ahokas, who started on tied second place for this round, struggled today (also -1) and Ville dropped down to tied 15th position. The only lead card player to succeeded today was Seppo Paju. Home course treated Paju well and he took a very solid -10 round which takes him to a two-stroke lead for the final round. Nestori Tuhkanen scored -5 today, but it wasn’t enough to keep him in the lead card for the final round.

The current leader, Seppo Paju, will be joined in the lead card with three new players. On second place we will see Rasmus Saukkoriipi, who scored a bogey-free -12 today. And that wasn’t even the hot round today – Pyry Joutsen managed to score an amazing -13 round. No bogeys, 11 birdies and also an ace on hole #14. What a round! Lead card will be completed with Jesse Nieminen (-9 today). Joutsen is currently two strokes behind Saukkoriipi and Nieminen is only one stroke behind Joutsen. Mikael Häme (-7 today) is still in good positions for the tour championship. He’s going to attack from the chase card, just one throw behind Nieminen. Joonas Aalto is tied with Häme with his -8 round today.

In the Women’s Open division Silva Saarinen started for the second round with a three stroke lead. Saarinen’s second round didn’t go as great as the first round did and she scored +8 today. Total score +10 keeps her still in the lead but for the final round the lead is tied. Jenni Karppinen managed to score the same score (+5) as yesterday and now these two ladies are heading to last battle with the same total score. Olivia Kindstedt also succeeded better than yesterday and she threw same +5  as Karppinen. Now Kindstedt is only five strokes behind the leading couple. Everything is still open in FPO.
