VINK TAKES THE LEAD IN OPEN DIVISION
The final stop of European Pro Tour 2022 started in Turku today and sun was shining. Not only the weather was hot but also was the scores. Riku Vink scored the hot round of the day with an amazing score -12. He started his round in the fourth group and his lead lasted until the end of the round. We also saw great rounds from Seppo Paju and Ville Ahokas, both scoring -11. These guys will start the second round just one throw behind leading Vink. Lead card will be completed with Nestori Tuhkanen (-9 today).
No one in the lead card can relax on tomorrow’s round as there are many success-hungry players in following cards. Mikael Häme, who is chasing the tour championship, and Rasmus Tuominen scored -8, but they are only one stroke ahead of six players on the tied seventh place. This group includes Joonatan Häme, who is also chasing the tour victory. How exciting can the second round be? Very exciting.

INTENSE BATTLE IN FPO
The field might not be the biggest one in Women’s Open division, but the battle between the ladies is. Reigning European Junior champion Silva Saarinen succeeded best today on the course and is in the lead with score +2. Jenni Karppinen is only three strokes behind Saarinen and we will probably see some kind of attack tomorrow. Olivia Kindstedt had some diffuculities today and is starting for the second round with score +10. Nothing is given free is this small but intense group of ladies.
